Welcome to the Cheese Cupid Pairing Blog. A place to share and express your matchmaking prowess. Every week, we’ll post our “Recommended Pairing” for your tasting pleasure. You might love it. You might hate it. Either way, simply consider it a mere pairing suggestion from a group of people who love Wisconsin cheese and the many libations it complements. With that said, we look forward to hearing what you have to say in an open and friendly atmosphere.

  1. A really great Carr Valley Swiss pared with a cold Pale Ale brewed at the Pearl Street Brewery in La Crosse, WI. Simple, but, absolute enjoyment!

  2. great idea

  3. With the Holidays around the corner I offer a Christmas Beer and Cheese pairing that is exceptional.
    Sierra Nevada Celebration-Uplands Pleasant Ridge

  4. Recently, we had an Engagement Party for my son and my future daughter-in-law and we served many appetizers. Among the many appetizers was a cheese plate…however I also took Aged Manchego with half of large red grape in small cupcake paper placed on a serving tray. Many of the guest drinking Spanish wines commented on how great this cheese was with the fruit! IT was a perfect little bite.

  5. Cheesy Prosciutto Melt – Thinly sliced Prosciutto piled onto sliced wheat
berry bread (or ciabatta), topped with sliced Wisconsin Muenster and
black berry preserves. Grill off in a Panini grill and you have an
awesome sandwich! – Goes well with a nice glass of RELAX® Riesling.
